More rain in Sri Lanka likely

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology on Thursday (25) forecasted that showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-Western and Central Provinces, and in Galle and Matara Districts while fairly heavy falls about 50 millimetres can be expected at some places.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00 this evening, the Met. Department stressed, adding that the showers may occur in Jaffna and Mannar Districts in the morning as well.
