Investigation underway to locate missing Police firearms

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Police inquiries are underway to recover the 2 T-56 assault rifles that have reportedly gone missing from the Panadura North Police Station.

It is reported that the weapons were issued to Police Officers during a parade that was held, however when the weapons were returned and upon inspection, it was discovered that 2 of the rifles had been misplaced.
