Daniel Craig returns to “Bond 25” set in UK

(UTV|COLOMBO) – 51-year-old actor Daniel Craig returned to the set of the new James Bond film after rehabilitation for an injury to his ankle ligaments he sustained in late May during filming in Jamaica.

The film continued production during Craig’s rehab, location filming shifting to the UK and now Craig is back on the set at back at work with new photos and video from a Westminster location shoot in London on Sunday being posted on the official James Bond Twitter account.

Craig can be seen with members of the Household Cavalry and driving the Aston Martin V8 Volante around town. In the new film, Bond is living a tranquil retirement life in Jamaica – one that’s interrupted when US agent Felix Leiter shows up and asks for help to rescue a kidnapped scientist which puts Bond on the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

The film will mark Craig’s fifth and final appearance as James Bond. Also back are Ralph Fiennes as M, Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, with Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Jeffrey Wright as Felix. Rami Malek, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Arma, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch also star.

Cary Joji Fukunaga is directing the film which features a script written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns with Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The film opens April 8th 2020.
