Ravana-1 to be launched into orbit today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka’s first Ravana-1 satellite, which was effectively launched in April 2019, will be released in orbit on Monday (17).

Ravana-1 would be deployed to 400 kilometres orbit, using the Kibo experiment module by the Japanese Aerospace and Exploration Agency (JAXA) scientists in the International Space Station (ISS).
