Navy apprehends 4 persons with Kerala cannabis

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A team of Naval Personnel in coordination with Mihintale Police held 4 persons with 6.45 kilogrammes of Kerala cannabis, near Mihintale Police Station.

Accordingly, a group of Naval Personnel attached to the North-Central Naval Command in coordination with Mihintale Police, apprehended this haul of Kerala cannabis and persons which were inside a van, searched near the Mihintale Police Station.

The arrested persons are residents of Matale and Galewela areas, aged 20, 25, 29, and 36.

Further investigations on the suspects, the haul of cannabis and the van are conducted by the Mihintale Police.
