(UTV|COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, and Central Provinces on Friday (31), the Department of Meteorology stated.
Fairly heavy falls about 100 millimetres can be expected at some places particularly in Southern Province, and in Kalutara and Ratnapura Districts.
Several spells of showers may occur in North-Western Province today, the Met. Department stressed, adding that showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Uva Province, and in Batticaloa and Ampara Districts after 2.00 PM.
