(UTV|COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena has pardoned the Secretary General of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) Organisation, Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero, who was serving a 6-year prison sentence for Contempt of Court.
BBS Chief Executive Officer Dilantha Withanage stated that he has received a confirmation from the Presidential Secretariat on the pardon granted to Gnanasara Thero.
