(UTV|COLOMBO) – Showery condition is expected to enhance to some extent over most parts of the island, particularly in South-Western part in the next few days, the Department of Meteorology stated on Wednesday (22).
Accordingly, showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern Provinces.
Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers are expected at several places in Central, Uva, North-Central, North-Western and Eastern Provinces, and in Vavuniya and Mullaitivu Districts after 2.00 PM as well.
Furthermore, fairly heavy falls about 100 millimetres can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Uva Provinces, and in Kalutara District, the Met. Department added.
