(UTV|COLOMBO) – Leader of the Opposition, Mahinda Rajapaksa has assured Germany the Opposition will support moves to maintain the peace in Sri Lanka.
Rajapaksa made this assurance when he met the Ambassador of Germany in Colombo Joern Rohde on Friday (17).
Amb. of Germany, H. E. Joerm Rohde called on me to discuss the current situation in Sri Lanka. I assured him that the Opposition has pledged full support to the govt. to contain the current tensions.
