Person arrested for attempting to bribe OIC to bail out NTJ suspect, remanded [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UPDATE: The person who was arrested while attempting to bribe the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Horowpathana Police Station, with Rs. 250,000 to release a suspect attached to the National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ) Organisation in custody, remanded until 21 May.

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Police on Wednesday (08) arrested an individual who attempted to bribe the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Horowpathana Police Station, with Rs. 250,000 in order to release a suspect attached to the National Thowheed Jamath (NTJ) Organisation currently in custody.
