Public urge not to gather explosion sites; Over 40 killed, numerous injured

(UTV|COLOMBO) – General public requested to refrain from gathering at the explosion sites, and outside hospitals where the injured are being brought in.

Up to six explosions have been reported at Churches and hotels in Sri Lanka as Christians celebrate Easter.

At least 24 people were killed and over 160 others had been admitted to the National Hospital in the capital, Colombo, while over 25 persons killed and numerous injured admitted to the National Hospital in Batticaloa.
