(UTV|COLOMBO) – A person possessed a haul of 50 packets of illegal foreign cigarettes, was nabbed by Naval Personnel attached to the South-Eastern Naval Command in coordination with Police Special Task Force (STF) in Marandamunei, during a raid carried out in Nindavoor area on Thursday (04).
The haul of cigarettes was set for sale at the time of apprehension.
The suspect is a resident of Nindavoor area aged-39. Further investigation on the suspect and the haul of cigarettes are being conducted by Police STF – Marandamunei.
