ICG Group in Jaffna gets update on social development

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A Representative Group of the International Crisis Group (ICG), Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) currently in Sri Lanka during a tour to the North went to the Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna (SFHQ – J) in order to receive an update on civil-military cooperation projects and on-going reconciliation process with special focus on social development and poverty.

Mr. Alan Keenan, Project Director and Senior Analyst in the ICG, based in Sri Lanka met Major General Roshan Seneviratne, General Officer Commanding, 51 Division on behalf of the Jaffna Commander and received a comprehensive update on relevant concerns during the cordial meeting.
