(UDHAYAM,COLOMBO) – A fire has erupted at Daham Mawatha destroying 7 houses in Maharagama.The fire brigade doused the fire using 4 fire engines.
Police believe that an electrical short circuit may have been the cause of the fire.No causalities were reported following the incident so far.
Officials from the Government Analyst Department will visit the site for further investigation tomorrow.
