Minister Champika to visit Akurana; Town to be redesigned with modern facilities

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Akurana is a town with multi ethnicity and rich in diversity. At the mean time considered as a city with a large economic interest in the Kandy District. The town critically need for reformation enhanced with modern facilities.

In this consequence the ministry of megapolis and western development has put up its hands to rebuild the area with modern facilities to honour the demand made by the Minister of Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs, Abdul Haleem.

The Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, Patali Champika Ranawaka schedule to be arrived at Akurana on 07 March around 1.30 PM on a special visit after a special invitation made by Minister Haleem.

During this visit, Minister Ranawaka set to recognise some special projects to be implemented in the area in order to redesign the town to meet the future.
