No narcotic substance detected in Nadeemal’s blood samples

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Dubai Police has reportedly confirmed that the narcotic substances were not detected in the blood samples obtained from Artiste Nadeemal Perera, who was arrested at a Dubai hotel recently.

Nadeemal and his father, a Sri Lankan Artiste Amal Perera were among several prominent figures arrested red-handed with a wanted Sri Lankan underworld drug kingpin, ‘Makandure Madush’ in a raid at a hotel in Dubai.

A large quantity of drugs was recovered from the suspects in the joint operation by the Dubai Police and Sri Lankan Law Enforcement Authorities.

Madush, who is among Sri Lanka’s most wanted criminals, had been evading arrest for the past couple of years.

The Authorities are now in talks with Dubai to extradite him to Sri Lanka.
