“Sri Lanka to get more dates for this Ramadan” – Minister Haleem

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has agreed to provide more dates for the 2019 Holy Ramadan, comparison to the previous year, the Minister of Postal Services and Muslim Religious Affairs Abdul Haleem stated.

This was formerly informed to the Hon. Minister by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s H.E. the Ambassador to Sri Lanka Abdul Naasir Bin Hussain Al-Haaristhi.

The Minister further emphasised that the Government is expecting to obtain the stock of dates prior to the commencement of Ramadan fasting period this year as it was delayed in previous year.
