(UTV|COLOMBO) – It is reported that two prisoners from Anuradhapura Prison who were taken to be produced before the Medawachchiya Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday (05), have escaped the custody of Prison Officers at the Court premises.
The inmates have escaped when they were boarded into the prisoner transportation at the Court premises.
Medawachchiya Police and the Prison Officers are carrying out search operations to apprehend the two escapees.
