(UTV|COLOMBO) – Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) on Thursday (31) arrested a suspect in possession of a stock of 400,000 foreign cigarettes worth seized Rs. 20 million.
The shipment of illegal cigarettes, which was seized while transporting in a container lorry in Colombo had been imported from Dubai under the guise of importing ship spare parts.
The PNB is conducting further investigations into the seizure in order to apprehend the main suspect reportedly from Wattala area.
