(UTV|COLOMBO) – Three Officials attached to the Department of Prisons have been dispatched to the Agunukolapelessa Prison to inquire into the alleged assault on the Prison inmates.
The video footage of an incident where Prison Officers were seen assaulting a group of prison inmates, who were in remand custody at the Agunukolapelessa Prison.
The visuals were recorded by the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Cameras of the Prison on 22 November, 2018.
