President appoints new Governors to five provinces

(UTV|COLOMBO) – New governors appointed for the five provinces have been sworn in before the President Maithripala Sirisena at president Secretariat a short while ago

New Governors :

1. M.L.A.M Hizbullah- Governor of Eastern Province
2. Maithri Gunaratne- Governor of Central Province
3. Asath Sally- Governor of Western Province
4. Sarath Ekanayake- Governor of North Central Province
5. Peshala Jayaratne- Governor of North Western Province
