Former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya’s case postponed

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The case filed against former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will be taken up for hearing on the 11th of this month.

The case was heard the Permanent High Court of Trial at Bar today.

The Attorney General had filed the case to seven people, including Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, for misappropriating funds in the construction of the Medamulana D.A Rajapaksa Memorial Museum.

The former Defence Secretary had gone abroad following the permission of the court and when the case was taken up today, the six other accused persons appeared before the Permanent High Court of Trial at Bar today.
