SLFP Headquarters in Colombo to reopen today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) which was closed for several days would be reopened today (01), it is learnt.

Several well-placed sources speculated that President Maithripala Sirisena had ordered that the SLFP Headquarters in Darley Road, Colombo be shut down on 26 December, until his return from Thailand.

President Sirisena is reportedly return to the country on Sunday (30).

It is reported that the keys of the SLFP Headquarters have been handed over to Maradana Police on 26 December following the closure, and were returned to a Representative of SLFP by the Police on 27 December.
