CID concludes investigations into Keith Noyahr abduction assault case

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has concluded the investigation conducted on the abduction and assault of Journalist Keith Noyahr.

The case has now been handed over to the Attorney General’s Department, and it will be called up again on 11 June, 2019.

Noyahr, the former defence writer and the Associate Editor of English weekly The Nation was abducted by unidentified men on 22 May, 2008. He was found a day assaulted and with head injuries. Noyahr left the country following the attack.
