Appeal handed over to Supreme Court against Interim Injunction [UPDATE]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – UPDATE: An appeal was handed over to the Supreme Court against the Interim Injunction issued by the Court of Appeal, Parliamentarian Gamini Lokuge said.

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that they will file an appeal before the Supreme Court against the Interim Injunction issued by the Court of Appeal restraining their functions of the Cabinet.

Issuing a communiqué on Monday (03), Rajapaksa stressed that that they do not agree with the Interim Injunction which was issued by the Appeal Court and that they would file an appeal before Supreme Court against the order on Tuesday (04).
