Showery condition to reduce from Nov. 11 – Met. Department

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The low pressure area to the South-west of Sri Lanka is moving away from the island. Therefor prevailing showery condition in the Northern, North-Central and Eastern Provinces is likely to reduce from 11 November, the Department of Meteorology said.

Showers will occur at times most parts of the island.

Heavy falls above 100 millimetres can be expected at some places in Western, Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva Provinces.

Fairly cold weather can be expected in the Northern and North-Central Provinces.

Misty conditions may occur at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces during the morning.
