Sarath Kongahage has been appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Sri Lanka Rūpavāhinī Corporation (SLRC), Dr. Somaratne Dissanayake as the Acting Chairman of the Independent Television Network (ITN) and the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), and Wasantha Priya Ramanayake has been appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (ANCL – Lake House).
