(UTV | COLOMBO) – Nine students of the Kelaniya University have been arrested by Police on charges of removing and damaging the CCTV system of the university and causing a damage amounting to Rs. 2.65 million to the state.
Police said the incident was reported on the 24th of February.
Arrested students aged between 22 and 25, will be produced before the Mahara Magistrate court today.
The Kiribathgoda Police is conducting further investigation.
