Report on financial firms to CBSL Governor on Jul 7

UTV | COLOMBO – The final report compiled by the committee appointed to investigate and report on discrepancies at financial institutions and leasing companies will be handed over to the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka on Tuesday, the 7th of July.

The report was due to be submitted on the 1st of July.

However the compilation of the final report had been delayed as complaints were reportedly received, even after the deadline announced to submit complaints in this regard.

The relevant committee has received over 250 complaints in relation to discrepancies at financial institutions and leasing companies.
