Govt. doctors’ protest against SAITM as Parents union meets President today

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The GMOA says that the first of the series of island-wide agitations staged aimed at a solution for the crisis that has cropped up with regard to the Malabe private medical college will commence from the Uva province today (20th Monday).

Meanwhile the SAITM parents’ forum will meet President Maithripala Sirisena tonight for discussion on the matter.

SATIM authorities are also scheduled to attend the discussion.

Meanwhile the Inter-University Students Federation (IUSF) yesterday (19th Sunday) charged that an attempt was being made to establish another private medical college.
