Sri Lanka – Thailand to further strengthen ties with Prime Minister visit

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-o-cha will arrive at Sri Lanka on 12 July for a two-day State visit, the Department of Government Information said on Thursday (05).

During his visit, the Thai Prime Minister is scheduled to call on President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and high-ranking officials.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the reason for this visit is an official invitation from the Sri Lankan Government for strengthening bilateral relation of the two countries.
