29 students hospitalized after wasp attack

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A group of 29 students, school principal and three teachers were attacked by a swarm of wasps in Pudukuduirippu on this morning (24th Tuesday), Udhayam news learns.

The injured persons have been admitted to the Kilinochchi hospital for treatments. According to reporter, police and residents of the area have removed the wasp nest after the incident which was built in a nearby tree.
