Parliament debate on CB bonds won’t be suspended- Anura Kumara Dissanayake

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) says no party or individual will be allowed to prevent the Parliamentary debate on the recommendations of the Committee on Public Enterprises over the controversy surrounding the Central Bank Treasury Bond issue.

Speaking at a media briefing held in Colombo today (23rd Monday), Leader of the JVP Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake said Parliament is scheduled to debate the COPE recommendations over the Central Bank Treasury bonds issue tomorrow.

MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake said an extensive debate will be held in Parliament tomorrow from 10.30am to 7.30pm.
