Troops Donate Blood for Patients in Jaffna Teaching Hospital

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Members of 5 Corps of Engineer Service (CES) at Kankesanturai serving the Security Force Headquarters-Jaffna (SFHQ-J) at the request of the Jaffna Blood Bank in the Jaffna Teaching Hospital donated blood on Friday (20th Jan.) at their camp premises for the use of patients in the Teaching Hospital.

Major Priyantha Hettiarachchi, Commanding Officer 5 CES, 06 Officers and 203 other rankers offered their blood for the benefit of patients since the Blood Bank has run short of blood for urgent surgeries.
