LP Gas price may increase by Rs. 50/-

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Litro Gas says that the price of a gas cylinder will be increased by Rs. 50 in the future.

Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris stated that although the price of a gas cylinder should be increased by Rs. 200, it has been decided to increase the price only by Rs. 50, in view of the current plight of the people.

Meanwhile, a ship carrying 3,700 metric tons of gas is scheduled to arrive in the island today (10).

Litro Gas stated that it has planned to distribute gas cylinders from tomorrow.

Litro Chairman Muditha Peiris stated that it has been planned to distribute 140,000 gas cylinders at 140 selected locations in Colombo within the next two days.

Meanwhile, Litro Gas added that another ship carrying 3,700 metric tons of LP gas is again scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (11).
