Iconic Chinese filmmaker John Woo has begun production on the action feature “Silent Night” – his first picture outside of Asia since 2003’s poorly received time manipulation feature “Paycheck”.

Joel Kinnaman stars in “Silent Night” as a father seeking revenge for the death of his son, but the key selling point is that the movie will contain no dialogue. No further casting has been revealed at this time.

Basil Iwanyk, Christian Mercuri, Erica Lee and Lori Tilki – all of whom are involved in the “John Wick” franchise – will produce. Shooting is underway in North America.
