The High Commissioner for Human Rights’ oral report on Sri Lanka will be presented on the first day.
The 48th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council will be held in Geneva, Switzerland from tomorrow until October 8.
At the 46th Session of the Human Rights Council, a resolution was passed on Promoting reconciliation, accountability and human rights in Sri Lanka.
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet is scheduled to present an oral report on the progress made by Sri Lanka on the resolution at today (13) session.
The debate of the member countries will be held on Tuesday.
