Scarlett Johansson joins Wes Anderson’s next

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Scarlett Johansson is the latest to join Wes Anderson’s next film which is currently shooting in Spain.

As per usual, her character and the film’s plot details are under wraps. The film however is said to be a larger ensemble work than some of Anderson’s earlier films.

This will mark Johansson and Anderson’s second film together, the actress serving as narrator on 2018’s “Isle of Dogs”. Other returning Anderson regulars include Adrien Brody, Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzman and Tilda Swinton.

Margot Robbie and Tom Hanks and Rupert Friend also star in the project which is expected to wrap shooting in late September, just ahead of Anderson’s “The French Dispatch” opening in cinemas in October.

Johansson remains under the spotlight right now following news of her lawsuit against Disney over a contractual breach regarding “Black Widow”.
