Ratana Sutta chants to be held for a week

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A Ratana Sutta chanting against the coronavirus will take place for a week from Wednesday at the Magul Maduwa of the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Chief Prelate of the Asgiri Chapter Most Venerable Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana thera speaking at a media briefing said they also discussed chanting the Ratana Sutta at all temples during the evenings.

The Venerable also called for large crowds to refrain from gathering at temples in keeping with the directive issued by the government to minimise public gatherings for the next two weeks.
