(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) has summoned Officials of 9 public enterprises including Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the Batticaloa Campus, and the Hira Foundation before Parliament next week to investigate their performances and progress.
SLC Officials will appear before the COPE tomorrow (03), while Officials of the Batticaloa Campus and Hira Foundation will appear on 17 September.
Meanwhile, the high ranking Officials of the National Savings Bank (NSB), and the People’s Bank have been summoned before the COPE on 04 and 05 September respectively.
Furthermore, the Officials of the Atomic Energy Authority have been summoned before the Committee on 18 September, while the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau Officials have been summoned on 19 September.
