UTV | COLOMBO – Police have arrested a resident of Kandy who had attempted to smuggle in 2.1kg of gold from Singapore.
Upon inspecting his baggage, police detected the gold biscuits each weighing around 100g.
The estimated value was Rs. 10 million.
