(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy says that hydro power generation has increased up to 60 to 65 percent following the recent heavy rains.
Water levels of the 6 main reservoirs used for hydro power generation stands at 90 percent, Media Spokesperson of the Ministry Sulakshana Jayawardana said.
