Undercover Policemen deployed to arrest social distancing violators

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Undercover Police Personnel will be deployed to arrest social distancing violators from today (29).

Acting Police Media Spokesperson Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said that the undercover Police Personnel will be deployed to arrest social distancing violators and admit them to quarantine centres.

The Police Spokesperson stressed that legal action will be filed against those who are arrested over violating social distancing norms.
