(UTV | COLOMBO) – A trial-at-bar has been appointed to hear the negligence case linked to the Easter Sunday attacks on former Defence Secretary Hemasiri Fernando and former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Pujith Jayasundara.
The trial-at-bar had been appointed by the Chief Justice.
Fernando and Jayasundara had been accused of neglecting their duties resulting in the Easter Sunday attacks in 2019.
