Three suspects remanded over Rs. 2.5 million gold theft

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Three suspects arrested on charges of breaking and entering and theft of up to Rs.2.5 million worth of gold items from residencies in Kosgama, Avissawella and Boralesgamuwa have been remanded until 28 January.

Police arrested the suspects and produced them before the Gangodawila Magistrate’s Court.

The Western Province South Crimes Division is carrying out further investigations into the case.
