(UTV | COLOMBO) – Vice-Chancellors of all universities have been summoned to the University Grants Commission today to discuss the recommencement of academic activities in universities.
Chairman Professor Sampath Amaratunga said the discussion will get underway at 2.00 this afternoon.
He said the Ministry of Health has issued several guidelines pertaining to reopening universities.
Accordingly, attention has been drawn towards reopening universities under several stages.
A final decision in this regard is due to be reached today.
