Rajan’s unlicensed firearm case postponed

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The case filed against the United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake over the possession of a firearm without a valid license has been postponed till 07 February.

Ramanayake, who is in remand custody, was brought to Nugegoda Magistrate’s Court this morning (17) over the unlicensed firearm case.

The Parliamentarian, who was arrested at his residence in Madiwela over the possession of a pistol without a license, was released on 2 surety bail of Rs. 500,000 each and imposed a travel ban.
