PM registers with online portal of Parliament

UTV | COLOMBO – Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has submitted his personal details to the Parliament Secretariat through the Online Registration System introduced for the first time in Sri Lanka’s Parliament history.

The Parliament yesterday announced that it has introduced an online registration portal for newly elected MPs to submit their personal details to the Parliament Secretariat.

Deputy Secretary General of Parliament Neil Iddawela said the registration of MPs will take place until the 20th of this month.

The inaugural sitting of the ninth Parliament will take place on the 20th of August.
