(UTV | COLOMBO) – Over 250,000 COVID-19 recoveries have been recorded in Sri Lanka thus far.
The number of COVID-19 recoveries recorded in the country has increased to 253,014.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 5,445 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals today.
The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in the country rose to 273,031 following the detection of 1,548 patients yesterday.
21,313 persons are currently receiving treatment for the coronavirus at several facilities across the country.
