Mortar bullets found in Puthukudiyiruppu

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A total of 13 boxes that contained bullets and ammunition used for mortars, suspected to have been buried by LTTE combatants, have been discovered in Puthukudiyiruppu, Mullaitivu.

The Special Task Force personnel seized the stock after the owner of the land had alerted the authorities.

The stock of ammunition is reportedly in a dilapidated state.
